In North America, Durisol represents a group of companies, under one control, in the business of engineering design, product development, pre-cast concrete manufacturing, pre - mineralized wood processing, technology licensing and project management. Durisol Resource Inc. controls the licensing rights for all of North and South America, and all Pacific Rim countries including China and Australia. Its Licensees maintain and own their manufacturing facilities, which produce Durisol products in strict compliance with Durisol’s formulations and quality control requirements.

The Durisol material was first invented in Switzerland. The development of this material was made possible through the creation of a unique treatment process that allowed raw wood fibre to be bonded with Portland cement. The exceptional and stable properties of the Durisol material have prevailed and have encouraged the successful introduction of numerous products incorporating the proprietary Durisol material in applications around the world.
